Josiah's First Bike Ride

Larry is excited to have Josiah out on his very first bike ride.
Larry was so excited that he took Josiah out as soon as he woke up. Josiah looks like he is enjoying himself. Larry picked a good bike seat. Looks like we will be having lots of fun family adventures in the future.

Hmmmmm..........what is this down here.

Sand in the City

I talked my family into heading downtown to check out Sand in the City, an event that I had wanted to see, but had never made the effort to see. We rode the max down to Pioneer Court House Square where the event was being held. Zoey was excited that we decided to ride the train. She also enjoyed watching the puppets as they acted out how you should act around dogs that you don't know. We all enjoyed looking at the sand sculptures amazed at what people can create with a lot of sand.

Camas Day's

I had never been to the Camas Day's Parade before, so when I found out that my friend Teresa was going I invited myself along. Zoey like getting a princess thingy for her hair. In fact she likes it so much that she has worn it to church a few times. She also like watching the parade and collecting candy from the parade pirates that went by. Josiah liked having a water bottle to chew on. Nothing like simple pleasures. Thanks for a good time Teresa and Felicia.

Blueberry Picking

A couple of weeks ago Zoey and I headed out to Majestic Farms to pick some blueberries. It was the first time for both of us. Zoey thought it was wonderful. She was so excited to bring her own basket, which was her flower girl basket from Jason and Kimmy's wedding. I was very impressed when she actually filled the whole basket up. Once she had filled her basket she felt like her work was done and it was time to enjoy the blueberries. I don't know how many she ate, but she thought each and every one was delious. Needless to say when we went again two weeks later she was very excited that we were going again. I personally liked the picking the second time around. It seemed much easier even with Josiah on my back. I think I liked it better because it was much cooler and the blueberries where grouped together more so I could pull them off the vines not just pick them one by one. All together we picked 23 pounds. Zoey is already looking forward to next year when we will get to do it again.

Grandparent's Visit

It was fun to have Larry's parents visit for the weekend. Zoey enjoyed playing alphabet bingo and dolls with Grandma JoAn, while Grandpa Doc entertained Josiah on the floor. Thank you Grandma JoAn and Grandpa Doc for the new dolls and a fun weekend.

Olympia Fun Part II

We went up to Olympia to visit my mom while Larry was on travel. It was fun to visit my mom on her turf. Meet her co-workers and see some of the sites.

I really like this picture of my mom and Josiah.

Olympia Part I

Grandma, Zoey and Josiah with the Capital Building in the background.
Zoey was very excited that she could drink from two straws at the same time.
We took Zoey to Charlie's Safari while in Olympia. She had a wonderful time playing in the bounce houses and on the play structure.

Zoey has more fun at the Beach

Uncle Paul and Uncle Josh dug a hole for Zoey to sit in. She thought that was pretty cool.
Come on Auntie Jenny I don't want to get wet.

While Zoey escaped the water in this picture she wasn't so fortunate later on. The water tripped her up and she got all wet. The look of shock on her face was pretty funny. She did the same thing last year when we were at the beach and wouldn't go near the water for the rest of the weekend. This time she felt like such a big girl because she got up herself and wasn't scared of the water. The was of course after she cried about getting all wet and cold.
